Attention Engine Optimization: It’s All About the R in RAG
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into all industries, organizations are striving to ensure that the insights generated by AI systems are reliable, accurate, and grounded in truth. Achieving trustworthy AI requires not only robust algorithms but also careful attention to the quality and structure of the information fed into them. Connecting Researchers With PubMed: Capricorn Has Entered the Chat
In collaboration with Google, the Princess Maxima Center in the Netherlands is working with an AI tool called Capricorn, an intelligent retrieval system designed to support medical research. Capricorn connects with PubMed to assist pediatric oncologists as they identify treatment options for patients. Clinical history can be entered into Capricorn and then it comes back with a list of resources from the current world literature via PubMed that researchers can review and explore. Built on principles of trustworthy AI, including RAG, Capricorn ensures that every insight is traceable, explainable, and grounded in verified medical knowledge.

Keeping Pilots on Course: Paper, Precision, and Partnership In 2005, DCL was featured in a story highlighting its collaboration with Atlas Air, where “going digital” still meant CDs along with XML conversions. At the time, flight safety and navigation manuals were printed, shipped, and manually updated around the world. This was a process DCL helped streamline at Atlas. By outsourcing manual revisions and implementing a high-tech tracking system, Atlas Air saved more than a quarter of a million dollars annually while ensuring pilots had the most up-to-date information in hand. Long before “digital transformation” became a buzzword, DCL was already proving that structure, accuracy, and meticulous process could keep even global aviation running smoothly. [READ MORE]
